Summer is just around the corner and the world seems to be opening back up. Cheer up buttercup! Here are 4 super cooling recipes that will cool you off this summer. All recipes are made using Finlandia Vodka and serve 3-4 glasses.

Finlandia Vodka

Finlandia vodka is made in Finland, a land where the sun can shine at midnight. The vodka embodies the Finnish spirit of living in harmony with nature by using its finest ingredients.

It is made from pure glacial spring water, filtered by glacial moraine created thousands of years ago and from the golden Suomi barley which grows and ripens where other barley cannot grow, to give the less ordinary vodka a crisp, clear, and smooth taste. READ MORE

Finlandia slushy ingredients

Watermelon Slushies

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 cups of frozen watermelon
  • 1 shot or 4oz of fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp of agave nectar
  • fresh mint leaves
  • 4 shots of Finlandia Vodka
  • sparkling Water
  1. Let the frozen watermelon chunks sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to defrost a bit.
  2. Gather all ingredients in a blender and blend at a pulse until you reach a thick slushy consistency. I added a bit of sparkling water to soften it a bit.
  3. Adjust agave syrup to taste, top with mint leaves if desired, serve and enjoy. : )

Mango Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 cups of mango
  • 2 tbsp of agave nectar
  • 2 limes
  • sparkling water
  • 1 cup of ice
  • fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • 4 shots of Finlandia Vodka
  1. Blend the chopped mango, vodka, lime juice, and agave until a smooth puree is formed.
  2. Add the ice and top each glass with sparkling water. Stir the mixture and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

This is like a spritzer. Keep diluting with any leftover sparkling water if you wish. Enjoy!

Strawberry or Pineapple Slushies

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 cups of frozen strawberries or frozen pineapple
  • 1 shot or 4oz of fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp of agave nectar
  • fresh mint leaves
  • 4 shots of Finlandia Vodka
  • sparkling water
  1. Let the frozen fruit sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to defrost a bit.
  2. Gather all ingredients in a blender and blend at a pulse until you reach a thick slushy consistency. I added a bit of sparkling water to soften it a bit.
  3. Adjust agave syrup to taste, top with mint leaves if desired, serve and enjoy. : )
