Did you know that without the appropriate walking shoes you increase your risk for injury? If you’re like me and have been spending lots of time outdoors lately, I feel ya girl! I canceled my gym membership and have probably hiked all the places in LA and walked along almost every beach.
Although the world might not be back to normal yet because we are still in a pandemic, that doesn’t mean you have to remain caged. It is encouraged to go out in nature as it is good for your mental and overall physical health. But do you have the correct shoes to do all this walking?

I knew I needed the right walking shoes for all these long nature walks so I headed over to Zappos to try the Merrell Jungle Moc. These shoes are made for the outdoor enthusiast because they are super comfortable for any outdoor-related activity. I love to wear mine on long hikes or long beach walks. (I’ve been doing those a lot lately)
Although these are great walking shoes for the outdoors, they are also great for those who are on their feet all day at work such as doctors or nurses. They are super comfortable and won’t make your feet hurt like most other shoes. Choosing the right pair of walking shoes is very important as not wearing the right shoes can cause foot problems or injuries.

There are ways of styling the Merell Jungle Moc to make them look cuter. I like to wear them with denim and fold my denim at the ankles just for an added extra look. This creates a simple yet comfortable and stylish look.
For long hikes or nature walks, I like to wear them with my usual workout pants. They look perfectly fine. I recommend wearing them with high rise socks, so they don’t rub on the back of your ankles when you walk. Sometimes if you wear short socks, the rubbing of the shoe creates discomfort and peeling, you don’t want that! I felt that I was able to walk for a longer distance than I usually do with my regular workout shoes.
