The Flower Fields is located in Carlsbad Ranch in California near San Diego. If you are coming from Los Angeles I would suggest taking a day trip to San Diego and stopping by Carlsbad at the flower fields.
What is The Flower Fields?
The Flowers Fields is a flower garden that is open once a year in the Spring. It is mainly open as a mother’s day activity but people come from all over the world to admire the pretty garden. The flower fields can expect as many as 100,000 and 200,000 visitors every year. You can find a variety of flowers and colors, it is simply so beautiful.
What is there to do?
Well, besides walk and admire the pretty flowers, there is an educational tour that you can take. This tour takes you around the whole field to admire the pretty flowers. This is great if you are with the elderly who want to admire the fields but can’t walk much.
There are also cool mazes around the flowers that are pretty cool to do. Another activity they just added is “picking your own blueberries” Both of these activities are so fun if you come with kids.
Is there food?
Yes, there is a designated area with tables where you can purchase food and eat. The food is not the fanciest. It’s more like fast food. There is pizza, hot dogs, and ice cream. You can also bring your own food and sit at the tables.
At the end of your day I suggest you go into the plant store and buy flower seeds or any kind of plant. You really feel inspired after looking at the pretty garden that you might just want to buy everything so, cation!
